Repurposing the Swimming Pool
In 2009, ALT commissioned Applied Ecological services (AES) to assess the inventory of resources and wildlife on Sycamore Island. AES suggested ALT improve the habitat Sycamore Island already provides by retrofitting what was once used as a swimming pool into a quality aquatic habitat. Fall of 2011, ALT enlisted the services of Tsuga-Studios to transform this area on the island. Work is set to resume Spring 2012.
