The property is densely wooded.  A thick tangle of brush, thorny berry bushes and small trees dominates the ground along the stream.  Larger hardwoods are found further up the slopes—cherry up to 26” in diameter, locust to 20”, maple to 28”, elm and oak to 29” or better.  Black walnut, hackberry, oak, beech, ironwood, poplar, dogwood, and ash have also been identified.  The property is at the edge of a large wooded area that extends to the west for several miles.
