Flora and Fauna
Sewickley Heights Borough Park and Fern Hollow are home to an amazing variety of plant 
and animal species. A diverse number of habitats are present in the park including strea, pond, field, meadow and forest.
A list of upcoming nature walks and programs is posted monthly in the bulletin board located in the upper parking lot of the park. Park wildflower blooming season and bird lists are available for visitors at Fern Hollow Nature Center. We kindly ask that you not disturb any wildlife or pick any plant material found in the park. If you see any type of wildlife that appears to be either sick or injured, please notify the Pennsylvania Game Commission - Southwest Region at (724) 238-9523 or the Sewickley Heights Borough Police at (412) 741-5111.
